The Person
Behind SIS
Pınar was born in Van, Turkey in 1989. Her childhood spanned the Eastern Anatolia-Aegean corridor. Every chapter of her life has been marked by major relocations, navigating diverse socio-economic backgrounds, and long journeys. After completing her early education in Denizli, she moved to Ankara in 2006 for her undergraduate studies at Hacettepe University.
She began her professional career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2010. Over the next decade, she served in key positions at the Turkish Embassies in Colombo, Sri Lanka (2013) and Lima, Peru (2017), developing a profound understanding of global human dynamics and systemic operations. Alongside her diplomatic work, she published literary translations into Turkish, including works by Lois Lowry, Reif Larsen, and Jiddu Krishnamurti, through Arkadaş, Akılçelen, and Omega publishing houses.
At the end of 2020, she made a radical pivot, leaving her diplomatic career to embark on a journey of self-discovery and structural redesign. Three years of that, most of it without a clear next step. During this period, she specialized in Career and Human Resources Management, focusing heavily on the integration of Artificial Intelligence in business processes and employee wellbeing. In 2024, she solidified this expertise by completing her master's degree at Rome Business School.
